Here are a few Rules and Regulations to keep things legit and honest

  • By submitting a post, you agree to adhere to these Rules and Regulations.
  • Links must be limited to 2 per post. No More.
  • You may not link to casino's, porn, pharmacies or any obscene, abusive, profane, threatening, hateful, racist, ethnically offensive, personally defamatory, libelous, or slanderous sites. Period
  • In a sense you manage the blog, but still your actions reflect on the University, remember that.
  • You may not write anything obscene, abusive, profane, threatening, hateful, racist, ethnically offensive, personally defamatory, libelous, or slanderous. Be honest with your reviews, but avoid personal (named) criticisms.
  • You may use the blog as an advertising or promotions forum, or to solicit or conduct business but within reason use common sense when making business postings and the 2 link maximum.
  • Do not post any material protected by copyright, trademark or service mark without the permission of the owner.
  • Any comment that is entirely unrelated to the post is highly likely to be deleted. Nor should be approved by the blog participant.
  • Advertising a site by putting up unrelated mumbo jumbo is not tolerated. If it’s not relevant to the post, don’t link it.
  • Adison reserves the right to reject any post.
  • Adison is not responsible for hosting any images. It is best to pull images from an outside source. Wordpress blog systems use re-writable folders that may be overwritten.
  • Adison reserves the right to edit any post.
  • Adison reserves the right to remove any participant and close said sponsors blog, for any reason, with or without prior notice to the participant.
  • Adison accepts no responsibility for the opinions and information posted on this blog system by others.
  • Adison University disclaims all warranties with regard to information posted on this blog, whether posted by Adison University or others; this disclaimer includes all implied warranties of merchantability, title, or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Adison University be liable for any special, indirect, or consequential damages, or damages of any kind whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of any information posted on this blog.

Suggestions:

  • Posts must have some value, or be worth reading.
  • Link to your blog to increase it's link popularity.
  • Start many categories, it creates more pages.
  • Do not repeat postings of the same general points.
  • Make posts humorous, political or constructive.
  • Update your blog frequently. The more you post the more visible the blog is to the search engines.
  • Blogs require time, if you don't have a little your blog will suffer.
  • Be original, Be authentic, Tell the truth, Don't guess, Acknowledge mistakes.
  • Post good news fast, Post bad news faster, Stay relevant, Use a spell checker.
  • Update frequently, Once you start, don't stop.
  • Any issues not explained here or ones in question should be raised privately with the blog manager.
